The literary world

The common thread of this course
Dear families,
This 2026-2027 school year, we will immerse ourselves in the world of children's literature. Stories, tales, and their characters will be the common thread and the backbone of this school year. We will journey together to discover imaginary worlds, adventures, emotions, and characters that have accompanied us and form part of the collective imagination of childhood.
Through stories and literature, we will connect learning across different educational areas and levels, offering children opportunities to read, listen, imagine, create, express themselves, and discover. This approach will allow us to work in a globalized, meaningful, and experiential way, turning literature into a gateway to new knowledge and a tool to understand and interpret the world around us.
Each class group has chosen a story, a genre, or an author that will identify them throughout the year. In this way, each classroom will have its own identity and will be part of this great universe of stories and tales that we will all share.
Class group names:
I3: Elmer, the elephants
I4: Knights and princesses
I5: Èlia the fairy
1st grade: Humorous stories
2nd grade: Scary stories
3rd grade: Science fiction stories
4th grade: Mystery stories
5th grade: Harry Potter (J.K. Rowling)
6th grade: The Invisible String (Míriam Tirado)
To share this project with you, on November 6th, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., we will hold an Open House day, just like last year. That day, the school will be transformed into a great world of stories, and we will be able to enjoy the different exhibitions, creations, and activities that the children and the teaching staff have prepared with great enthusiasm.
Save the date and get ready to step into the world of stories!
