Safety and higieny measures

Collection of the main safety and hygiene regulations for the 2020-2021 academic year.

PERSONAL PREVENTION MEASURES

THE CURRENT STATE OF THE HEALTH SITUATION REQUIRES THAT ALL STUDENTS FROM 1ST PRIMARY ONE USE THE MASK WITHIN THE STABLE GROUP. THEREFORE, WE WILL START THE COURSE UNDER THIS INSTRUCTION.

WE RECOMMEND TO FAMILIES THAT STUDENTS MAKE USE OF REUSABLE HYGIENE MASK. THEY MUST COMPLY WITH THE UNE REGULATIONS (https://www.une.org/la-asociacion/sala-de-informacion-une/noticias/especificacion-une-mascarillas).

MASKS MUST BE MARKED WITH THE STUDENT'S NAME.

IT IS MANDATORY TO MAKE A DAILY MASK CHANGE AND ENSURE ITS CORRECT DISINFECTION AFTER USE.

PHYSICAL DISTANCE

According to Resolution SLT / 1429/2020, of 18 June, which adopts basic protection and organizational measures to prevent the risk of transmission and promote the containment of SARS-CoV-2 infection, the interpersonal physical distance security, both indoors and outdoors, is set at 1.5 meters in general, with the equivalent of a security space of 2.5 m2 per person, and is required in any case except between people who have a very regular close contact, as is the case with stable coexistence groups. Therefore, in stable groups it is not necessary to require the interpersonal physical safety distance set at 1.5 meters (or the equivalent safety surface of 2.5 m2).

HAND WASHING

These are the most effective measures to preserve the health of children as well as teaching and non-teaching staff.

In children and adolescents, hand washing will be required:

On arrival and departure from the school.
Before and after meals.
Before and after going to the toilet (continent children).
Before and after the different activities.

To this end, all classrooms and spaces will be labeled with instructions to remind students of the importance of hand washing and the appropriate technique to do so.

The toilets and sinks in the building have been distributed so that each stable group has two toilets for exclusive use. The sinks will also be for exclusive use, except for two pairs of groups that will have to share and, therefore, their disinfection will be ensured after the massive use of each stable group.

In the case of staff working at the school, hand washing will be carried out:

Upon arrival at the center, before contact with children.
Before and after coming in contact with food, children's meals and their own.
Before and after accompanying a child to the toilet.
Before and after going to the toilet.
Before and after milking a child (with disposable handkerchiefs).

Hydroalcoholic ice dispensers have been placed at the entrance of each space for the use of teaching and non-teaching staff, to facilitate hand hygiene before entering and after leaving each space.

MASKS

COLLECTIVE

2n. Early childhood education cycle (3-6 years)

Not mandatory during the school day. Compulsory at entrances and exits of the educational site.

Hygienic in compliance with UNE standard

Primary education (6-12 years)

Not mandatory if you are with the coexistence group in the classroom, if the epidemiological situation allows it. We will follow the instructions of the health authorities as established.

Compulsory in entrances and exits of the educational enclosure and in the displacements inside the center.

Hygienic in compliance with UNE standard

Teaching and non-teaching staff

Recommended in stable groups, if the epidemiological situation allows it. We will follow the instructions of the health authorities as established. Mandatory for staff when teaching classes in different groups, when not part of the stable coexistence group and in meetings and gatherings inside the building.

Hygienic in compliance with UNE standard

Therefore, all students and school staff must arrive at the center with a mask and will not be able to remove it until they reach their classroom.

Kindergarten students will keep it in a clothes bag in their backpack until check-out time.
Primary school students will keep it in a personal kid's bag that they will wear all day and put it on all the trips they have to make inside the center (going to the toilet, going out to the playground ...).
